Hundred of people packed the Grand Opening at Holly Brown yesterday to witness Hong Kong's newest and most sophisticated coffee house opening, as well as sharing Latte Art experience with Scottie Callaghan, 2nd runner-up of the 2010 World Barista Champion in London.

Heralding a new era of quality in the Hong Kong cafe scene, Holly Brown opens on July 9 offering glamorous cupcakes, spot-hitting gelato and cups of coffee made by Hong Kong Grand Barista Champion Tracy Kwok.

Kwok, formerly employed at Epoch Coffee Bar and Desserterie, won the title of Grand Barista Champion last year in Hong Kong's first such competition and went on to represent Hong Kong in the international finals. Since her win, Kwok's coffees have been a much sought-after item at Epoch. We can't wait to see her stretch her espresso-pulling muscles at her new locale.
